Cookie Policy
This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on the Gustae Oriental website. We keep this short and factual: today the site sets only strictly-necessary and functional cookies. We do not use analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking cookies.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device to make it work, remember your preferences, or keep you signed in. Similar technologies (such as local storage) can serve the same purposes. They do not run programs or carry viruses.
Cookies we use today

No tracking cookies
We use a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics tool (Vercel Web Analytics) that counts aggregate page views without setting any cookies, without tracking you across other websites, and without building an advertising profile. We set no advertising or other third-party tracking cookies, and we share no cookie data with ad networks.
If this changes
If we ever introduce non-essential cookies — for example analytics — we will first show a consent banner with equal-weight “Accept” and “Reject” options and granular per-category control, before any such cookie is set. No banner is required today because only strictly-necessary and functional cookies are used, which do not depend on consent.
Cookie categories (general)
- Strictly necessary
- Required for the site to function — for example keeping you signed in. These cannot be switched off and do not require consent.
- Functional / preference
- Remember choices you make, such as language. They improve your experience but are not essential.
- Analytics / performance
- Measure how the site is used so it can be improved. We use a cookieless tool that sets no cookies, so no consent is required.
- Advertising / targeting
- Build profiles to show relevant ads. Not used today; would require consent if introduced.
Managing and deleting cookies
You can view, block, or delete cookies through your browser settings — usually under “Privacy” or “Cookies and site data.” Most browsers also offer a private/incognito mode. Note that blocking strictly-necessary cookies may prevent you from staying signed in to the client portal.
